Vessel has just completed extensive refit in August 2009. Inclusive of full surveys, new wheelhouse and electronics, overhaul of main engines, gensets and electrics. A new bow door/ deck crane has been fitted plus a complete sandblast and paint system.
Tom Welsby has stability supplements for:

– Grove RT-522 Rough Terrain Crane 20 T
– Caldive Deck Crane used for dive operations, drilling, rock bolting. Used in John Brooks Project, Dampier Port Authority, Shark Bay Salt, Koolan Island Project and Cape Lambert

Tom Welsby is used extensively for assembly and disassembly, testing and cleaning of offshore floating hoses import and export eliminating the need to beach or slip.
